Rian Dundon

Rian Dundon (b. 1980) is a photographer from Oakland, CA. His work has appeared in a number of magazines, books and newspapers, and has been exhibited in places like Beijing, London, Siem Reap, New York and Santa Cruz. His first monograph, Changsha, is a record of the 6 years he lived and worked in Mainland China. Rian is a graduate of New York University and the Social Documentation masters program at UC Santa Cruz. He is honored to have lectured or taught courses in photography at UCSC, NYU, the International Center of Photography and the San Francisco Art Institute. Rian’s work has been recognized by a handful of awards, artist grants and academic fellowships, for which he is extremely grateful. He is currently putting the finishing touches on a new book about celebrity culture in China while shooting new projects in his home state of California.
